Welcome to Jaxse: Move Well, Live Clean

Hello and welcome! We are so excited to introduce ourselves. We are Jaxse, and we’re on a mission to redefine what it means to be active, combining high performance with a deep commitment to personal wellness and a healthy planet.

This is our very first journal entry, and as we gear up for launch, we wanted to share our personal "why."

The Journey to Jaxse

Jaxse was born from a realization that our founder, like many people, has had a complicated relationship with health and wellness. Dealing with chronic issues, and particularly sensitive skin conditions like eczema and many others, forced a close look at everything that comes into contact with the body—especially the clothes worn during exercise.

It's a frustrating thought: you’re trying to do something good for your body, but the clothes you wear might be actively working against you. When you sweat, your pores open up, increasing the likelihood that your skin absorbs any chemicals present in the fabric. The synthetic dyes and finishes in many traditional garments can act as irritants, potentially triggering or worsening sensitive skin conditions.

This conviction—that the clothing we rely on to feel good should actually be good for us—is why Jaxse exists. We believe that clean movement requires clean activewear.

The Activewear Market: Big Business, Hidden Costs

The activewear market is massive. The global activewear market is currently valued at hundreds of billions of dollars, projected to grow from an estimated $345–472 billion in 2025 to over $566–1,069 billion by the early 2030s. This growth reflects a global desire for fitness and comfort.

But this boom comes with a significant trade-off, affecting both our bodies and the Earth.

The Problem with Traditional Activewear:

• Toxic Chemicals on Your Skin: To achieve properties like sweat-wicking, water-resistance, or vibrant colors, many conventional garments are treated with harsh chemicals. These can include PFAS ("forever chemicals"), phthalates, and certain azo dyes. When you sweat in these plastic-based fabrics, these endocrine-disrupting and irritating toxins can be absorbed by your skin.

• Environmental Pollution: Most activewear is made from virgin, petroleum-based synthetics like polyester and nylon, which are energy-intensive to produce. Furthermore, these fabrics shed microplastics with every wash, polluting our waterways and oceans.

The Jaxse Solution: Clean, Sustainable Performance

At Jaxse, we saw the emerging sustainable athleisure market—a segment already valued at over $86 billion in 2024 and growing—as a chance to lead with integrity. Our commitment is to create high-performance gear that respects your body and the planet.

1. Wellness First (Non-Toxic & Hypoallergenic):

We prioritize certified, low-impact materials and avoid the use of harsh chemical finishes. By choosing Jaxse, you reduce your body's exposure to common skin irritants and hormone disruptors, allowing you to move freely and comfortably, especially if you have sensitive skin.

2. Planet-Friendly Materials:

We focus on materials that drastically reduce environmental harm. This means utilizing recycled materials like polyester made from plastic bottles to reduce waste and energy use, and employing ethical supply chains with a focus on water-efficient and low-impact dyeing processes.

3. Uncompromised Performance:

Our gear is designed to meet the demands of your toughest workouts. Durable, supportive, and moisture-wicking, Jaxse pieces are an investment designed to last, reducing fast-fashion waste and ensuring you have reliable gear for years to come.

We are so excited for you to experience the difference that clean, conscious activewear can make in your life. Jaxse is more than just clothing; it’s a tool for better health.

Your journey to wellness is about to get a whole lot cleaner. Thrive With Purpose

With excitement,
